  • Seriously? FUCKING SERIOUSLY?

In 2018 this is STILL a question? We've been able to leave fossil fuels and petroleum/oil behind for decades, But the greedy fucks in charge have too much to lose. From this point forward, If you see ANYTHING that uses fossil fuels for power, Absolutely fucking demolish it. Start with cop cars :)

  • We should be phasing out fossil fuels and replacing them with renewable energy sources.

As I am part of the "New Generation", i feel as if we should be phasing out these outdated resources, as we have much better forms of energy sources, that won't be damaging the environment, either directly or indirectly. If we got rid of all of the fossil fuels, the amount of carbon particles that are damaging the atmosphere and adding to greenhouse gases would drastically drop, as would the temperature rises that are making ocean levels rise.

  • Stop using fossil fuels!

We burn coal to produce energy, but (according to the Wikipedia) as little as one megajoule of energy releases 112 grams of co2 (carbon dioxide) and according to Joe Rovito, (as seen making sense of Paul Skema’s gibberish,) 108 megajoules a day is normal. Now, I did some math, and that’s 12 kg of co2 a day! For one person! So… that translates to 88.8 million for the world! A day! That’s a lot of co2! And we’re going to run out of oil by 2052, because of that, we’re going to be forced to step up usage of gas to fill said gap, and that bumps us up to 2060, and all known coal reserves will be emptied by 2088. That’s not much. (As of 2018, that’s 70 years.) Of course, we’ll find more, but not enough. Also, all that coal is going to release a lot of co2, which will cause global warming. This change in climate can:
    Cause highly severe weather,
Cause severe illness and/or death to humans and animals,
Cause dirtier air, leading to more illnesses and death,
Cause acidic oceans, leading to more illnesses and death,
And cause higher sea levels by melting the ice caps.
There’s no doubt about it. We need to stop.

  • They Ruin The World

Fossil Fuels are the cause of global warming, which has many disastrous effects, like storms becoming stronger, ice caps melting, habitat destruction, diseases such as malaria thriving, less freshwater available, and more invasive species thriving. Furthermore, fossil fuels also cause air pollution and water pollution, which causes things like cancer and other sicknesses. Also people wouldn't be sick, like with the cold as often as now if fossil fuels stopped being used. The only thing stopping us really is money. We have the technology to be entirely nuclear and renewable, it's just that large oil, coal and gas companies are too damn greedy, and their greed is screwing everyone over. I know I'm preaching to the choir right now, but those large corporations need to be stopped ASAP.

  • We should not be using fossil fuels anymore!

Believe the fossil fuels are a bad idea because not only are they well known for destroying the environment, they can also do a significant damage to the health of humans and wildlife. Over 99% of animals that existed before the humans evolved are now extinct, and if action isn’t taken soon enough, not only will we make the earth worse for future generations, we could make in uninhabitable for every species that once roamed our planet.

  • Lets save our enviornment

Would you want our environment to be polluted? Is it okay for you? Not being able to breathe in fresh air, diseases will spread, animals are going to die and also plants, some areas are giong get too dry to grow crops lots of people and populations are going to starve and die, some places are giong to get flooded. Just imagine yourself losing all of your belongings because of the extreme weather you'll have. Imagine you country being flooded under water and becoming a part of the sea, just imagine you not having you country on earth!! Would you like that to happen?

  • Our increased demand

Our increased demand for fossil fuels continues to grow as we find new technologies to satisfy our needs. It has become a global issue because we use it too much everyday and we are struggling to find it. We use cars everyday and there is approximately 1.2 billion cars and by 2035 we will have 2 billion cars according to scientists, so that means 1.2 billion cars need fuel or diesel or gas and they are all from fossil fuels and each car takes about 50 liters so 1.2 billion cars need fuel and it takes thousands of years to make fossil fuels and we are using fossil fuels more than we are making them. 80% of USA’s energy is made up of coal, natural gas and oil that they use for cars, power industry, to heat our homes and manufacturing those are all fossil fuels! That is over half of America’s energy we should decrease that by 70% to make it only 10% of their energy.
The stakeholders of this issue are the presidents and prime ministers of countries that own all the fossil fuel wastage and everybody is affected by it because we use it too much.

  • No one understands what a fossil fuel is other than Dino's

Yes, but it's a bit of long proscess as we still need the alternatives to be strong enough and convince all the companies to stop ushering them, find ways to convert everything that only runs on fossil fuels blah blah blah, etcetera etcetera bored no too many words required done.

  • Everyone will die.💀

Global warming will cause the Earth to be destroyed if we don't stop using fossil fuels. If all of our trees die, we will lose most of the oxygen we have, the animals will die, we will drown, the ice caps will melt, and so much more damage will happen.

  • We need to stop using fossil fuels.

If we continue to burn fossil fuels our economy and even our society could break down. What happens when we have completely deplete our non-renewable energy sources? Are we just going to wait a few million years to have electricity again? Even if we could somehow survive in a society with no electricity without going back to the barbaric ages we would still lose literal millennia of scientific progress.

  • Ok Listen Man. . . . . . . We Need Gas. . . . . . . . Period. . . . . . . Period. . . . Peroid. . . .

Guys have you ever considered the effects of repelling fossil fuels, I will be honest right now. . . . . Our whole economic system has been based on a blind elephant. . . . . That will demolish everything in its path, Until the path ends. . . . . . Did you guys forget that all human achievements, Were made by causing extinctions, Catastrophes, Prostitutes, Money. . . . Please don't forget, We cannot stop using fossil fuels. . . . . . Its immoral, Its evil, And cruel to stop making money off of dead organisms living millions of years back. . . . . . . . . I REPEAT DO NOT, DO NOT stop using fossil fuels. . . . . . . . . This is the only reason countries like Russia still exist. . . . . . We cannot let such a great, Great, Great again Country like Russia, Go poor. . . . . Poorer. . . . . Period. . . . . Thank you :)

  • Hippity Hoppity women are property

  • Protect the enviorment

Well many people say yes but you guys still want to be alive rite so lets change this instead of using fossil fuels or dead animals we should use something that doesent cause that many damage to our planet. So lets keep making the ecosytem great so future generations see our beutifuul planet earth.

  • As you guys can see

As you guys can see we need fossil fuels because its very useful and good. So damn daniel back at it again with the white vans as you guys can see. Club penguin is fun. Fossil fuels for life k as you guys can see fossile fules k? Dam daniel.

  • The Economical Effect

To just stop with out any replacement would be silly and would crush our economy so unless we want to go back to the pioneer days of riding horses and animals i think we should keep them around until we find a satisfactory substitute. Wind, Water and even bio-thermal energy still lack the ability to produce the amount of energy that is needed. The argument that carbon dioxide is effecting our climate still needs more proof and is in a judgement based off of parts-per-million to be exact 100 parts per million rise since the 1800's do we understand how small that is so small im sure that we will be fine running with fossil fuels they are one of the greatest inventions we have everything we use everyday somehow benefited by fossil fuels if you would like progress you better like fossil fuels.

  • No, they can't stop using fossil fuels at the moment.

Right now, there's no way to stop using fossil fuels. We would immediately be in trouble if we suddenly stopped using things like coal and gasoline. We have become far too reliant on them to suddenly stop. That being said, scientists should definitely be working on alternative sources of energy so that we can gradually taper off the use of fossil fuels, using them as little as possible, since they are a limited resource.

  • No the world should not stop using fossil fuels.

No the world is not in a position to completely stop using fossil fuels, however the industrialized countries do increase their use of non-fossil fuels and energy obtained from non-fossil fuel sources. Greenhouse gas emissions pose a direct threat to the long-term health of the planet. Climate change is linked to the increased emissions of these gases.

  • The World Stop

I personally think that Tht penny to drop eventually – fossil fuels like coal might be more valuable if they were used to make medicines, chemicals and fertilizers rather than wasted by being burned.while we know that fossil fuels are used to make all sorts of everyday objects such as plastics, carbon fiber, soap, aspirins, solvents and dyes, it has never occurred to most of us how we will make these things when the coal, gas and oil run out.
