• Yes,there should be more government which co-ordinate with each other to form a successful & prosperous country

We cannot live in anarchy. Therefore,a better governing body is always welcome. In this respect,a government consisting of as many parties as possible is much better.

Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up

  • Government =No Freedom

People always say we need more government. Supposedly but do you want to have exactly the same bed time as your neighbor? No freedom to spend. To govern is to control. Does anybody remember why we left the British? It was to get away from this, not the other way around. The government is payed with taxes. Raise your hand for taxes!

  • "Man is not free unless government is limited"

I am tired of the government constantly in my life. Government needs to remain small because it has only two major jobs. One is to protect the rights of the citizens, making sure we all will have the same opportunity to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The other being to protect our lives, and the country.

  • The last thing we need...

The last thing we need is more government. After all Obama has done and Is going to do, we the people of America need to take a stand! We cannot let the govt control us! Such as Obama trying to cut fast food. The government does not have the power to control the people. Another example is gun control. Obama and the rest of the Democratic Party is trying to take away guns. What all of you democrats need to realize is that guns don't kill people. People kill people! So either deal with it and let the police to their jobs or find another country. Because this is America. Home of the free and land of the brave!

GWL-CPA, you are wrong! First of all; our Founding Fathers did not trust government. They knew that it was at best “a necessary evil and in its worst state an intolerable one” as stated by Thomas Paine but here are some more quotes for you.

Thomas Jefferson:
"The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not."

"I think we have more machinery of government than is necessary, too many parasites living on the labor of the industrious."

"The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first."

Alexander Hamilton:
"If Congress can employ money indefinitely to the general welfare… The powers of Congress would subvert the very foundation, the very nature of the limited government established by the people of America."

Bigger government means less freedom with more taxation on the working class people to pay for the entitlements of those who refuse to be a productive part of our society and are nothing but leeches. The only part of the government that needs some size is the part that protects our freedom; our military and yet this is what we keep cutting. If two work together they can lift each other up but if one is lazy they will drag down the working man which is what we have today.
