• Net Neutrality In Best Interest of Internet Users

Unfortunately, Net Neutrality was recently struck down by the courts. Everyday Internet users should care about this event because Net Neutrality ensured that service providers couldn't block access to certain websites or redirect users to the ISPs' preferred sites. Net Neutrality is now gone, and the FCC needs to implement something that gives the same protections.

  • YES! We need net neutrality

We need net neutrality because it stops ISP's from being able to control our Internet experience. NN allows US to be able to control what we see, not the ISP's. Without NN, big company's like Google and Amazon and eBay will be able to control all of the Internet, and smaller site's like Free web arcade and Derpibooru will disappear.

  • Why would it be?

Federal interpretation of marriage allows for same-sex couples. There is no justified reason why allowing same sex couples to marry should be unconstitutional. This is the future. I wonder what state will be the last to allow it? . . . . . . . . . . . .

  • No, it is inefficient.

No, we should not care about net neutrality, because insisting on net neutrality makes the internet slower for everyone. Downloading takes a lot of space and energy. Diverting energy from children working in school or a professor doing research is a shame, just so that someone can have their illegal downloads. Internet providers need the freedom to make judgment calls about internet priorities.
