  • As you can see dogs used to be wild and we tamed them.

Same with the cotton pickin cats that people keep. These dadburn turtles and birds were tamed to you buncha jacklegs. Thats all i have to say... Actually i have more because all these hoodlams runnin around with these iguanas and stuff on a leash dont have one dadgum problem with it and niether do i. I think that some of these animals are important to some of the morons that like tham a lot. I used to have a beetle as a pet it was very exotic and he was my best friend...

  • Because it's right

Some wild animals should be house pets. Yes i can agree that tigers and such do not belong in a small house of kids, but some animals like the Sloth, Hedgehog, or the Bengal cats deserve a nice home. There are wild animals out there right for humans to handle.

  • Animals in houses?

Honestly, I think that wild animals should be kept as pets only if you have a permit and only for certain animals like snakes. I am not talking about pythons, but snakes, frogs poisonous or not, baboons or monkeys, foxes, and squirrels. People can take care of them if they're being hunted shelter and food. You cannot have tigers or lions, pythons, and killer whales to live in your house.

  • Yes We Should

They can have great relationships with people and make families happy. Also, we can learn more about their species and possibly help them with their survival. Some species are having trouble in the wild and this can be a way to save them and learn how to keep them surviving in nature. It's just important that whoever owns them is knowledgeable about that particular animal and knows how to take care of it. Many proponents of wild animals feel that some species have a better chance of survival if they are adopted. For example the dart frog is facing a problem in the wild as its natural habitat is diminishing. Hence, if this animal is adopted, it will have a better chance of survival.

  • Exotic and wild animals should be allowed as pets

A long time ago German shepherds ancestors lived in Germany, they were exotic to us, so if we gave them a chance why can't we give other animals a chance. Dogs, cats, turtles, birds, etc, were all wild at one point, but guess what now they are household pets, this is why wild animals should be allowed as pets.

  • They can die on the way to the pet store

Pets can die of shock. Being put in a house after the wild the shock can kill them. And people do not always know how to care for them, or have a suitable habitat. Exotic pets are not always what you would think, think if you had a owl, they poop and screech a lot. They are not pets people.

  • It is very dangerous

Jaren Hare and her boyfriend, Charles Darnell, Were sentenced to 12 years in prison after the pet python they kept strangled Jaren Hare's two-year-old daughter, Shaianna in July 2009.

The couple told police that the reptile, Which they kept inside a laundry bag in a tank pinned closed by a quilt, Had escaped 10 times before they found it in the crib with Shaianna, "wrapped around her head and body. "

  • It is Unfair to take an animal out of its habitat for human companionship.

Do you think its fair that we take an animal where it is most happy to where it is used as a cuddly toy animals like tigers etc are not cuddly cats. I'm a crazy cat lady but thats too far imagine if it was in another perspective and you where taken out of your home away from your friends and family forced to eat the same thing every day limited to the person that owns you money.

  • No Way :(

When kept as pets their well being is put in danger. They can become sick because of lack of attention, wrong diet, or bad habitation. They can also hurt humans. There are many cases of tigers and lions hurting young children, animals, and even the owner. Many also die in transport. Baby pythons are kept in Cds, parrots have there beaks and feet taped, and baby turtles are taped into their shells. Save an animal today and adopt a dog or cat

  • Being as a pet threatens their survival.

When they're being "taken care of "by humans, they don't know how to survive in the wild on their own. They often become sick and/or die because their owners are unable to care for them properly. Every year countless birds and reptiles suffer and die on the trip to the pet store. Wild animals shouldn't be held hostage in a cage! Instead, they should be roaming free and living their best life while they have it!

  • Wild animals as pets can cause deaths

75 humans have died and 200 animals have died. "Live Science" and "Nat Geo Wild" both state that keeping a wild pet is not a good idea. Wild animals have unique needs, baby animals grow up, and wild animals spread diseases. 1,610 incidents have been reported with wild animals involved.

  • Not a pet!

Wild animals should not be kept as pet, simply because if you captivate a wild animal they eventually become domesticated and that takes centuries . Plus when of take a wild animal out of it's habituate as a baby or adult, when you have visitors they may get attached by the animal.

  • NO! Just absolutely NO!

First of all the you are putting the animal in danger. Tons of animals die all the time because we keep them as "pets" when they are really kept as hostage and because you are also putting yourself and family in danger too. Once when I was browsing the web I read this article that said that Carla Nash was attacked by a chimpanzee and lost both of her eyes and will be blind for life. She also lost much of her facial tissue and now has difficulty talking and cannot breathe naturally. Both of her hands were mangled beyond repair. NOW THAT IS DAMAGE FOR LIFE

  • No they should not they should be left to their own well being.

Animals shouldn’t have to be forced to live in enclosed areas, they should be aloud to roam free and live in their way of living without any disturbance from the human society. Keeping animals out of the wild is so cruel and isolating. The animals should stay where they are and be able to have their own choices in life just like we do.
