• Not a salvation issue

While I don't believe In the trinity myself, I don't think god will send someone to hell over an interpretation. Trinnies and oneies both say that there is only one god and believe in jesus as the son of god. Think he would care more about how we treat each other and care for the least of these.

  • The One True God cannot be a Trinity

Trinity was ratified in 381 A.D. Eight generations after Jesus walked the earth. Jesus himself never mentions a Trinity, so why would we? We are supposed to be followers of Jesus, boys and girls.

Trinity was made up by Greek thinking analysts of the day, from among their own terminologies and metaphors, not the Bible's. OUSIA in 325 A.D. Was formally said to be shared between the Father and the Son at the Council of Nicaea, and this HOMOOUSIA was declared first, making self-evident the divinity of the Christ. Although no Jew had ever tried to describe the OUSIA of God, Greek analysts had no compunction NOT to, and proceeded to take the "high road of Christology" concerning Jesus, IGNORING the fact that now the most basic monotheism of the Jew is now abrogated.

  • The trinity is real

I can't say much about the first person of the trinity-the Father, though neither can i see any valid reason for life and breath if he were not there...The second person, Jesus, the Son, the head of church, has been there as historians say, the Holy Spirit, we needn't SAY about Him, we can see the effects His presence has, through various Christians' lives, esp. Those who are converts

  • The Church defines heresy

Heretics have no grounds of authority on which to determine what is or is not orthodox belief. Only the Catholic Church is protected from error when teaching about faith and morals, and therefore only deviations from what she has declared to be definitively held by all the Christian faithful can count as heresy. The Catholic Church teaches the trinitarian doctrine and therefore, in following our Mater et Magistra, we cannot err in professing it as well.

  • The first chapter of the Gospel of John

Proves the divinity of Christ. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Because the chapter later identifies Christ as the Word made flesh, it's difficult to see how the Word can be identified as an impersonal quality of God rather than a subsisting person in the Godhead. The begotten Word is the first-born of all Creation according to Scripture: and as such, the Trinitarian understanding prevails here, and it doesn't take much to see how the Holy Ghost is added as well by Christ's own proclamation of the Trinitarian formula during the Great Commission.

  • God IS God

The Trinity is valid and Real ....God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy spirit. Certainly cannot explain it here too much info for such a tiny audience ... Since only Believers would ever understand this topic. But Keep studying people! Your certainly not going to get an epiphany by attending church and reading the bible once a week, well you might, but its gonna take you 100 years. You must do what Christ said, 2 Tim 2:15Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. You should exercise caution pronouncing something heresy based solely on the fact that YOU do not know it!
