Andrew Jackson hated Blacks and Native Americans. He is part hero, Part goat! Folklore seems to have given his legend legs, While destroying the validity of one of America's greatest heroes who might better serve the $20 bill. He lost his last election fighting Jackson's racism, And standing up for Native American rights! He was the first Presidential candidate of the WHIG Party, The original anti-slavery party. His platform was anti-slavery and Native American Rights! Jackson campaigned against him 1835, Angered by his charges of racism. His name was David Crockett, And he shortly there after left for Texas where he would die at the Alamo. Legend or hero? Are his moral stands just a footnote to folklore, Or is he truly an American hero? Should he be on the $20 bill instead of Jackson?
