Unilateral US military strike inside Pakistan: Would the Pakistani people react negatively?

  • Pakistani's would clearly react negatively

A strike on Pakistan would be a disaster. The people of the nation would view their attackers as monsters, not liberators. A strike would harm citizens and, as seen with drones, cause a rise in terrorist recruitment from those disgruntled by the attack. The negative reactions of some in Afghanistan and Iraq to conflict is proof of this.

  • No, they want freedom.

No, the Pakistani people would not react negatively to a military strike inside Pakistan, because the people in Pakistan are being oppressed by their government. The people in Pakistan do not have sound government. They know that America makes places better when they interfere, just like the did in post World War II Germany.
