The 2010 US health care reform legislation is most certainly a good idea. The health care system in the United States before this legislation was extremely broken, with people often relying more on the emergency room for their preventative care because health insurance would be too expensive. With the legislation, it will help make the system better for every one.
While I understand that we could really use a solid reform to our health care system, I don't think that this legislation was necessarily the best way to go. While some elements with it I agree with some don't seem like they may work out as well. It appears the legislation may need to be changed.
