The United States of America placing economic sanctions on North Korea is not beneficial to out economy. While placing those sanctions on North Korea will not make a change for the bad for our economy, it will not be beneficial to the United States economy either. All in all, the sanctions will have no effect on our economy.
Economic sanctions do not benefit our economy. They put a wrench in the free-market system. In cases like North Korea, they create a negotiating point, leverage, that allows us to pressure no compliant nations into doing our bidding, but we often end up giving the billions in exchange for compliance.
