Were cases of blacks and Hispanics being abducted as slaves and chained to their masters houses common during Jim Crow (and even today)?

  • I know this sounds like something out of "Pulp Fiction"

But it does shed light on something very disturbing that is all too common in America. Slaves being abducted and treated heinously being called racial slurs. Very brutal kidnappers who chain their victims and force them to work and even beat them up. I think this was very common in the United States during Jim Crow. Now I'm sure they would be arrested but how common was it?
