What is the effect of adaptation and mitigation on population health.

Asked by: Temmy
  • Mitigation reduces the emission of greenhouse gases. Adaptation protect the health of the population from the already committed climate change.

The effect of mitigation on health reduces the emission of greenhouse gases and increase carbon sink. Carbon sink is a reservoir that stores more carbon than it releases. On the other hand adaption is a metric that protect the population against any health illness. Human behavior and actions have a lot of effect on climate change.
