• Yes, Floyd Mayweather will beat Manny Pacquiao

Ever since this long, drawn-out public showdown between Mayweather and Pacquiao started, some have alleged that the reason Mayweather hadn't yet committed to do the fight was because Mayweather feared Pacquiao would beat him. These people clearly have no understanding of publicity, marketing, and the power of 'hype'. Mayweather was just dragging it out to increase interest in the fight whenever it eventually would happen. Now that it is happening, Mayweather will destroy him.

  • Yes, Floyd Mayweather will beat Manny Pacquiao.

Yes, Floyd Mayweather will win the fight against Manny Pacquiao. Mayweather is the greatest boxer of his generation. He is quicker, smarter, and more technically sound than Pacquaio. Mayweather has never lost a fight and he has won against Juan Manuel Marquez, the boxer that knocked out Pacquaio. It won't be easy, but he will win.

  • Yes, Mayweather over Pacquiao

Floyd Mayweather will beat Manny Pacquiao for the simple reason Pacquiao is no where as good as what he used to be. His interests have been in politics in the Phillipeans, and therefore he probably has not be training as much as he had in the past. His full time job is no longer boxer. No matter what, Pacquiao will still take a big chunk of money. So he doesn't care if he wins.

  • Pacquaio too tough and strong for Mayweather

Floyd Mayweather is one the greatest defensive fighters, ever. His shoulder roll thing is a thing of beauty against conventional fighters. The problem is it doesn’t work against southpaws so well and Manny Paqqaio is just not another southpaw. Floyd is a counter puncher who will wait to shoot right hands over Manny’s left. The difficulty that MP brings is his punches come from very unconventional angles. The thing is of Floyd cannot gain Manny’s respect early—this will be one of those classic MP breaking down a fighter round by round. At some point in this fight Floyd will be forced to fight. FM has pretty much had his way with just about everyone. He has never been in a life or death bout. He will finally be in one on May 2nd. MP has been there many times before, and that will count in a fight like this. Pacquaio’s footwork is very underrated as well as his hand speed. FM will not be dealing with a far slower Madaina. Floyd will be in with someone equal in hand speed. Both of these factors will surprise Floyd. MP’s footwork will be very key. He will need to get inside of FM and Manny will get inside. Pacman also throws in combos where Floyd is a one-two fighter and backs off. Even if MP misses a lot of punches—he will throw a lot and will be willing to throw 5 punches to hit him once. MP can-- and will out work FM. I do not think Mayweather can really hurt Pacquaio.
Back when Tyson and Holyfield fought—nobody gave Evander a chance. I was telling people two weeks leading up to the fight that it was going to be a one-sided fight for Holyfield. Everybody thought I was crazy until the fight was over. It will be a one-sided fight for Manny Pacquaio and people are going to be surprised as they see round by round Pacquaio break down Mayweather—and take his will. Manny by UD or late TKO. Styles makes fights MP has a style match up that favors him. And Floyd Mayweather avoided this guy until he could get the most money to risk it all.

  • Pacquiao On Top

I do not think Floyd Mayweather will beat Manny Pacquiao. However, I do feel like we've got a show on our hands. Pacquiao has been gaing for a while now and I think he has this win in this match up. Mayweather may think he can hedge him out, but I don't think it's going to happen.
