Will future generations of Americans ever enjoy the same or a better standard of living as the Baby Boomers?

  • Never in a million years.

Much of the world's resources have been gobbled up. Most well paying jobs that the boomers enjoyed have been shipped overseas to make a fast buck, and social security and pension promises by governments long gone cannot be kept due to the massive debt accumulated by past silly government social experiments. Such promises can only be fulfilled by massive tax increases on the young. The boomers also enjoyed a 45 year housing boom that will never come again. While no individual cannot be held responsible this mess, the Boomers are accountable for electing horrible officials, or at the very least, taking them to task.
