Obama know that Isis is attacking. Obama is Muslim and wants Isis to destroy america just as much as Isis want to destroy us. So yes I do believe that Obama will get rid of guns so that we can't fight back against Isis. He will also get rid of our second amendment.
Liberals seek control over your life, that includes your ability to protect yourself. All liberals are Socialist, they seek to control us . It's to their benefit. Banning guns is a tool they can use. If your unarmed and dependant. They can very easily put America in the social order they desire. Gun control is people control...And it's what the founding fathers feared ....That's why the bill of rights exist.
Probably not. But maybe... I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to ban guns, I mean he was the head of an organisation in Chicago that supported gun control and that worked out pretty poorly. I mean its not like he already has 19 EO's set up yet...Oh, wait, yes he does. Personally, banning assault weapons wouldn't do any good. There haven't been any shootings involving these weapons in quite a long time. And how would you define a high capacity magazine? The average 'handgun' nowadays has a clip of 12-17 bullets.
President Obama will likely try to reinstate the "assault weapons ban" we had in the late 90s. He will not try to ban all guns or try to take peoples guns that they already own. That idea is ridiculous non-since that goes with "Obama was born in the US" and "Obama is a Muslim."

I do not believe Obama will ban guns. I believe there is a lot of opposition to stricter gun laws in this country and I believe the president, as well as the rest of the government, is aware of this. Many people in America hold that they have a right to have their weapons and they will not let go of them easily. Obama will not take this step because it risks the peace of America.
Obama has expressed that he believes that there need to be more restrictions when it comes to gun control laws, but he has not expressed any sort of intent to implement a full gun ban. Gun control is a major in the United States, especially with rising gun violence in public places, but Obama is already politically wrapped up in Obamacare and is not likely to take on the additional challenge of gun control.
Obama has never claimed that he will ban guns altogether. He has proposed minor restrictions to the sale and distribution of guns after several tragic shooting rampages. Some restrictions on guns are necessary to make sure these tragedies do not take place again in the future. No one is proposing to ban all guns.
Even if Obama wanted to ban guns it would not be possible. A republican dominated legislature would not provide the votes to ban guns. Republicans are to terrified of their own shadow to allow for guns to be banned. They want to be able to commit a mass murder whenever they want.
The American people have owned guns for over two-hundred years, and their guns won't disappear anytime soon. Obama couldn't ban guns even if he tried because the American people wouldn't stand for such a policy. Even many members of Congress would fight such an idea because it's insane to say the least.
It is the second amendment to the constitution and a lot of Americans believe in the constitution, so he will never have the support to change that. But if he does manage it then there will certainly be some kind of uprising, and that is all we can ask for.
Not only is it impracticable to ban all guns, it is also on shaky constitutional ground. The president is only trying to ban assault weapons and high capacity magazines. The ban is in the interest in stopping the rampant gun violence, the large portion of which seems to be perpetrated by higher power weapons.
He isn't trying to institute a total ban. After looking at all the relevant facts, and talking with all key players, President will likely reinstate the '94 assault weapon and high capacity (11+ rounds) magazine ban. The 2nd Amendment is clear that American citizens will always have the right to bare arms, but exactly what type a arms a citizen can have is clearly debatable.
There is no way that President Obama will be able to entirely ban guns. Firearms are a huge part of the culture and history of our nation. Despite the recent sensationalization of violence committed with firearms, the majority of gun owners have never harmed or threatened to harm anyone with their weapons. There are still portions of the US that gun owners use their weapons to provide food for their family, which may make the difference in their survival in such a harsh economy.
The whole gun control argument coming from the pro gun control public really centers around banning guns with large magazines that can afflict a lot of damage rapidly. It may seem that gun control advocates are after every gun in America but that is not really a consideration. In order to ban guns totally we would have to have a long period of changing people's minds with regard to gun ownership. I think Obama will just try to change whatever he can to see to it that mass killings and gun killings in general get reduced.
