You can be anti-Zionist without being anti-Semetic.

  • I Call BS

Anyone who doesn't think worldwide Jews deserve a small plot of land smaller than NJ, after centuries of diaspora and oppression, is a Jew-hater.

Israel occupies approximately 2% of the total land-mass of the Middle East. They've never tried to extend their rule beyond that. In fact, they gave the Sinai Peninsula BACK to Egypt after the 1967 war. They gave Gaza BACK to the so-called 'Palestinians,' who subsequently ran it into the ground. And yet, according to many people, Israel is an 'imperialist aggressor.'

    I call BS on that.

The Arab nations don't want Israel to exist because they HATE JEWS. The western left sides with the Arab nations because the western left hates its own culture and will side with whoever wants to destroy it.

  • Hebrews are only one of the four Semitic races. Zionism is anti-Semitic.

Phoenicians (indigenous Lebanese) and Arabs (including Palestinians) are also Semitic.
Zionism has inspired oppression of Palestinians (Netanyahu refuses to recognize Palestine as a nation yet Palestinians are not allowed to vote and they are walled into extremely population dense areas with their water and food supplies threatened, similar to Nazi Germany's death camps) and this has also led to immigration to Lebanon which has caused trouble for locals, and it has also inspired racist and bigoted attitudes across Israel which are now very common, therefore Zionism is anti-Semitic.

  • Zionism is rooted in Nationalism, not religion.

Zionism is a movement born in the western ideals of nationalism, not Judaism. It remained an almost exclusively European movement until WW2. However Anti-Semtisim is hatred or prejudge against SEMITES NOT ONLY JEWS (Arabs are technically Semites as well)

Because Zionism is a nationalist movement and not a religious one that therefore destroys the correlation between anti semtism and anti Zionism ( Several examples of anti zionist Jews:

  • Wholly false statement

Anti-Zionism-Anti-Zionism is opposition to Zionism, a nationalism of Jews that supports a Jewish nation state in the territory defined as the Land of Israel.

Anti-Semitism-Antisemitism (also spelled Anti-Semitism or anti-semitism) is prejudice against, hatred of, or discrimination against Jews

Think about it: some Jews to this day oppose the state of Israel. Norman Finkelstein, a pro-Palestinian Jewish writer, is one of those examples; Noam Chomsky, who is known for his left-libertarian thought, is also an anti-Zionist Jew. I'm an anti-Zionist: I am definitely not anti-Semitic. I have friends who subscribe to Judaism, and we have open discussions about Israel and all. An Anti-Semite would not even lay their eyes on a Jew.

You can be jewish and be against Zionism as many are. You don't have to hate Jews to be against occupation and opression.
