I heard microstamping doesn't work.

I think a great place to start is a ad campaign. "Real men don't carry guns"

There is so much macho bullsh1t rapped up in gun culture that it will take a very long time to unwind.

Real men who want to get shot up like no one's biz don't carry guns

Varrack - I have never carried a gun. Not one day in my entire life. I have NO holes in me.

Never even owned a gun, except a bb for plinking.

Gun owners have a higher rate of suicide because they have the means at hand.

Well it depends on where you live. If you're in a rural area with very low crime you needn't worry about a gun. But if you're in Chicago you probably should have one on you.

Varrack - I have lived in Chicago for a good number of years. I live near Chicago now. Was in CA for 10+ years. Denver. Never have lived "rural" and still never needed a gun.

I don't see the point of carrying guns in most parts of our country, but I wouldn't take them away from others for use in recreation or self-defense. And hey, making guns gives people something to do.

And a way to provide tax money!
