Are humans inherently evil?

Posted by: PetersSmith

Evil defined as bad, selfish, ignorant, arrogant, and/or sinful. So, are we really all naturally evil? Are we naturally lustful, violent, greedy, and/or gluttonous? Do we personally think we are better than everyone else?

No, we aren't born "evil" or "good"; we make our own decisions and come to our own conclusions.

Yes, which is why I can only come to the conclusion that I am the only good person in existence. I am perfect; I am eternal. GO ME!

No, we have a need to survive and many sins are derived from this need; such as lust, violence, and excess.

I get the feeling that this poll might be a *bit* biased.

Everything I do and have done, where I have had a choice, has been for myself. So, if you say being selfish is evil, we are born evil, because I believe the same is true for every single person. I do not say being selfish is evil. I do say it is human nature.
