I don't think that anybody here would dispute that statement. Of course, many people believe the MRA to be idiotic or misogynist.
So men are not oppressed in any kind of way by women or women's rights or feminist or new "normals" of society? Perhaps, the LGBT movement?
Oppression is a strong word, men aren't oppressed in any way. Neither are women, at least in the US.
I'm with the MRA. I was just stating what many people would think.
Watch PetersSmith vote 'no.'
I was just asking..
Both women and men are oppressed in different areas of society..
"Opressed"
There are many factors which come into play when it comes to the oppression of men and women.

@ Vox, My first statement was actually at Texas. Sorry (womp, womp)
Women gender equality is BS. Men are disadvantaged at certain jobs than women. My friend told me his cousin applied for an air host job, but he was immediately turned down. All women immediately were selected for an interview.
And, teachers are total assholes to boys. I know from experience. Except for guy teachers of course.

@Taj, Oh yeah! When it comes to office jobs forget it. If a woman is applying for the same job as the guy, the guy might as well walk away..
@triangle.128k Did you expect me to start a research project and find stats? I wasn't trying to create an argument, I was simply stating my personal experiences, which are not very good. They count for something.
@Haroush Feminists act like they are being brutally opposed by the evil male population. Nothing but BS, and annoyance if you ask me. I understand that women are disadvantaged a bit more than men, but simply being arrogant and annoying isn't going to help anybody.
By any chance did you hear about this?? http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/business/2014/09/01/few-women-in-construction-recruiting-efforts-rise/14870787/

This is a good thing though right?
Somebody is trolling ( Cough.. Cough te.. Cough par.. Cough ty.. Eh screw it!)
Tell me what you think.. I was asking you if you seen these articles and files or not.
I never seen them before. I think it is a good step forward.
Are you sure?
Thats why I'm asking you. I wasn't sure to begin with.
Of course men's rights are important, but how often are they violated? Men aren't oppressed, I know this because I am a man. I have never faced or dealt with any systemic issue because of my sex. I have complete control over my sexual health. I can worry a lot less about being sexually harassed or assaulted. I can go most places in the world knowing that I will not be a target, or treated differently, because of my sex.
@briantheliberal https://yourlogicalfallacyis.com/anecdotal
So?
Brian, you are very fortunate. Its happened even at my school. They want to get more girls to join clubs, they replace experience and talent, with mediocrity. I was kicked of the archery team, because they supposedly wanted more girls to join.
Men rights are MORE important then women's
Men are proven to have 5 more IQ, The leading powers, (Russia china America for now) Are led by men, Men are stringer, and on average Men hold more money.
So, Men are superior to women, And Men's rights kust come first.
Well if they're stringer I guess they really kust be more important!
(I'm assuming this was said by a male, if so our IQ must not come from spelling, or perhaps it's not from bothering to remove typos.)
This was largely due to education favoring men, while women were expected to just do housework. In modern society, the men having higher IQ is no longer accurate. We used to be 5 points ahead (note that this was a maximum, not an average), this has slowly been closing since and now women score slightly above us on average.
Who cares that we're physically stronger? So we can toss a ball slightly further, big whoop. Clearly a sign that we are just massively superior, the fact that we happen to have slightly more powerful muscles on average. Yes, testosterone levels and societal bias making men try to be stronger is really just a sign from heaven that we are better. In case the sarcasm that this reeks of is not clear- it's really not important. If you can carry stuff like furniture or groceries from point A to point B, there's no real advantage to being stronger than that.
The leading powers all happen to be led by the gender which there was massive bias to for centuries? Wow, I'm really shocked. You know what's more shocking? The fact that despite this massive disadvantage, some women have managed to get to prime minister, at least they have here in New Zealand.
Again, the one which was massively disadvantaged for centuries has less money than the one who was not massively disadvantaged? Please stop blowing my mind!
Nothing you've said has proven men's rights are more important than women's rights. In fact your only point with any relevance and validity at all actually applies to women now, so following your own logic, women's right are more important. I think they're equally important, but following your own logic, or at least the relevant parts, women's rights are more important.
@Teaparty SCREW YOU! You're a man and you're only saying all men are pigs, so you're saying that you too are a pig! Well, GUESS WHAT, not all men are filthy pigs! If all men were pigs, then stores wouldn't even bother selling male fragrances or male shampoos/conditioners and if all men were pigs, then all men would smell disgusting but not all men smell disgusting! You CAN NOT speak for all men and say that all men are pigs because that is NOT F**KING TRUE! You are proof that feminism has brainwashed many people into thinking that men are the bane of society! Sexism NEEDS to be put to an end!
