Seeing as though I could name about 50 conspiracy theorists that have turned out to be true, well I think being a conspiracy theorists has its merits. There are lots of brainwashed people out there. Then when they find out the truth, they still deny.

History by the way is full of true conspiracy theories. In fact, all events are conspiracies when you think of it. The worst thing you can do is blindly believe.

From the Reichstag fire to the Gulf of Tonkin incident to Tuskegee to Operation Northwoods ..... The masses are being lied to all the time. Why on earth would you NOT believe in conspiracy theories?

If your girlfriend lies to you about cheating, would you keep believing her? No. So, why when you catch your government, do you keep believing the next time they will tell the truth?

I do not believe in conspiracy theories because a vast majority are rejected or have no consistent evidence. Accepting them nearly always harms your ability to make predictions and/or describe the world.
