I don't understand patriotism. The idea of loving your country, that is to say loving what happens to exist in the several-hundred square miles within an artificially-drawn border, which (often just a result of 'which group of people won which battle at which time)' constitutes the geopolitical division referred to as a country, just doesn't make sense to me. Nationalism I find even harder to comprehend.
