I was taught about sex since early childhood and I turned out just fine.

Yeah same here. I'd say keep it minimal until end of elementary school, when kids start going through puberty and being sexually curious.

I think sex education should be taught to someone who has reach the puberty and are sexual mature around age 12-13.

But not in elementary school because children may not have so much great understanding about sex.

If they don't have a great understanding about sex, more reason to inform them about it. It'd be better to make sure they're safe if they're going to try something instead of just saying "don't do it" and having them do it anyway but doing something dangerous.

And may i ask you.In cananda it is true that an 12/13 years old can have sex with someone who is less than 2 years age difference ??

I agree with Mister_Man, the whole point of education is to inform those who do not have an understanding of something. Sex really is not that intricate of a topic if you know what you're talking about.

Exactly. Information/education is a lot different than encouraging kids to do something. Most kids, if they want to, will have sex anyway, whether or not they're taught the do's and don'ts. So it'd be better to at least make sure they're safe while doing something.

And Countdooku, yes. At 12 and 13 years old, one can consent to sexual activity with someone less than two years older. Taken from a Canadian government website; "a 12 or 13 year old can consent to sexual activity with another young person who is less than two years older and with whom there is no relationship of trust, authority or dependency or other exploitation of the young person." So the short answer is yes, lol.

And if the child is 14/15, the age difference has to be less than five years.
countdooku says2015-10-06T04:34:20.9850880Z
And what if the child is under age of 12 can they consent to sexual activity ??
countdooku says2015-10-06T04:35:13.8063494Z
And are 12/13 years old a youth or a child??Because a youth mean adolescence and a child is someone who has not entered the adolescene stages yet.
Mister_Man says2015-10-06T04:50:43.2547738Z
I don't believe someone under 12 can legally consent to sexual activity. They must be 12 years old. And I actually don't know what they're considered, child or adolescent. I believe they're just referred to as "youth," lol.

@countdooku A youth usually does not considered a child, they are teens. It devides in young teens and older teens.Young teens (age 12-14) and older teens (15-19).Older teens are very similar to an adult but young teens may still far behind from an adult but during the stage from young to older teens they are still on developing in emotional, physical, and mentally and complex thinking to similar like an adult. So a 12/13 years old may not be as mature as a 15 or 16 years old but they such as they are absolutely much more mature than someone who is 10 or 9 years old.
stephannoi says2015-10-06T07:11:38.2585669Z
Older teens are most often in society to be threat like an adult although they are not considered as an adult yet but such as a person who is 15 or 16 can already held criminal responsibility and sent into adult prison.

And yes a child under age of 12 are unable to give consent under any circumstances because of what ?Because they are still on the stage of childhood and children usually cannot consent to sexual activity to because they are both mentally and physically immature in engage to that kind of activity.
stephannoi says2015-10-06T07:18:06.1711095Z
On the past many centuries ago age of consent was much lower than 12 or even there is no age of consent exist at all.Now a day lowest minimum age of consent is 12 ranging to the highest 21.But most commonly countries in all around the world age of consent is 16.
stephannoi says2015-10-06T07:19:58.0067926Z
While juvenile age 12-14 may not send to adult prison but instead to juvenile prison.
