Better economy or better environment?

While there can be a middle-ground, it is no where in sight of our current actions as a species. More luxuries in your house, or better environmental factors?

Brink like we'll all die tomorrow or within the next century or so-- if century, then yeah, "brink" but not really soon like days or weeks.

If we focus on economy more money could be given to scientists to alter the enviorment.
