yes, but it is abused. So to prevent that, be cruel, parents will get deported if they are illegal, they can decide to bring their children. If the child can't go back, tough luck. Be careful about your crime before it happens.
I think it WOULD be ok... but it is also an abused right. Because of the immigrant parents are having children, and slipping over the border to have them... we have to let that family in as well... and we have no idea what their morals are, and or if they know the laws and customs for living in the area they choose. In a perfect world, people would live where they want to live, and fill out all the paperwork. Fact is, people are using this to an advantage to cross borders.
Too many children of illegals are born here and granted citizenship. Then, using their kid's citizenship, the illegals can send him or her to taxpayer-funded schools and get welfare in his or her name. They can also get citizenship more easily because they are now family of a citizen.
