@UtherPenguin Lol, Pakistan is far from being a superpower.

@triangle True, but Pakistan is still competition.

India has a better chance than Pakistan for sure. Pakistan is too corrupted to achieve anything.

I doubt India can likely become one though. The condition in India isn't all that great, even in rich cities there are so many frequent power outages.

I've visited one of the richest cities in India and from what i've seen, it's not too likely to become a superpower due to it's poor conditions.

It's still marked as a potential superpower though on Wikipedia and many other people still see it as having potential.

India is one of the fastest growing economic and military powers in the world. It is also a country that has wide acceptance globally. India has also proved to be a responsible power - it is the world's largest democracy; it is home to one of the oldest civilisations; it is one of the most diverse countries in the world - the largest Hindu country; the largest Sikh country; the largest Jain country; the largest Zoroastrian country; the third largest Muslim country; it has been a responsible nuclear power; it is the largest supplier of soldiers to UN peacekeeping missions. The country's soft power is also on the rise and should/will soon start playing a more proactive role in international diplomacy.
