  • Read the bible. I'm an atheist, so I'm going to hell.

  • The Bible clearly states that those who do not accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior will not inherit the Kingdom of God. I am not even a Christian and I know this.

  • the only way to heaven is to accept jesus!

  • The bible states you must follow the bible to the letter t. It denounces people who are Christian in name only or cultural christians. Christianity is either something you follow completely or don't

  • If you do not accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior and beg forgiveness for your sins, you will have denied yourself access to Heaven. Jesus wants you to be in Heaven more than anything.

  • I am an atheist, but most Christians tend to agree with the bible, think it is an eternal book of wisdom, and rant at anyone who doesn't agree. The bible does say that non-christians cannot enter heaven, from what I've heard at least...

  • "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." -John 14:6 Quite clear. No one comes to the Father through Mohamed, Buddha, or Brahma.

  • I believe Christians have a higher chance of going to heaven than non-Christians, because Christians get more graces. Non-Christians can still get into heaven except they would have less graces thus have a harder time.

  • No matter what your religion is, you have equal chance to go to heaven. Atheists have a less chance of getting into heaven, as they tend to disbelieve it.

  • The only people who go to heaven are Christians and Jews.

  • Not all Christian sects believe in Hell for non believers or even Hell in the traditional sense at all

  • No, God will judge them based on their life. We know for sure that God will judge them righteously and justly.

  • God will prefer a kind Atheist over a hateful Christian at the Gates of His Kingdom.

  • So long as they accept the Lord in the afterlife they will make it to heaven. Not being a Christian here doesn't doom you.

@Tumblrnatic So they have less of a chance for disbelieving in something with little evidence?
Tumblrnatic says2015-04-05T14:17:58.6704034-05:00
@triangle.128k there is evidence. See this link, http://www.Godandscience.Org/apologetics/answers.Html
triangle.128k says2015-04-05T14:20:39.5537744-05:00
That's a biased source.
triangle.128k says2015-04-05T14:21:19.7505364-05:00
I never said there was no evidence, but it's not the evidence that atheists are looking for. There's not as much evidence to prove god as there is to say, prove that clouds are water vapor.
Tumblrnatic says2015-04-05T14:21:53.4920708-05:00
@triangle. 128 k life is bias
triangle.128k says2015-04-05T14:23:43.8449653-05:00
Great comeback you have there.
Tumblrnatic says2015-04-05T14:24:57.8811415-05:00
@triangle the world is not a wish granting factory
triangle.128k says2015-04-05T14:30:15.7250290-05:00
That has nothing to do with anything, but whatever.
triangle.128k says2015-04-05T14:30:54.9579582-05:00
This poll is a genius way to tell the difference between idiotic Christians and Christians with a functioning brain.
Tumblrnatic says2015-04-05T14:32:05.9057101-05:00
@triangle it does because it is from a book that has christians accepting that all people go to heaven and such matters.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-05T14:38:22.2766526-05:00
I thought this poll was asking Christians whether they believe non-Christian can get to heaven or not. I guess it is really whether non-Christians think Christians believe non-Christians can not get to heaven or not.
retrogamer176 says2015-04-05T14:38:46.9427977-05:00
Not being a christian, in it of itself, is a sin.
Tumblrnatic says2015-04-05T14:39:14.8092000-05:00
@mathgeekjoe I agree with you.
triangle.128k says2015-04-05T14:39:41.0113579-05:00
@Mathgeekjoe No, I meant for this poll to be for only Christians to answer.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-05T14:43:13.5104713-05:00
"Not being a christian, in it of itself, is a sin." Not correct, being a human is a sin (original sin caused by adam and eve). Being baptized removes original sin, so non-Christians don't have the sin removed.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-05T14:45:05.5982012-05:00
@triangle.128k Well apparently atheist are messing up your poll. Evident by retrogamer176's vote.
Tumblrnatic says2015-04-05T14:47:48.9075751-05:00
@mathgeekjoe he is 15 what do you expect? He is still learning the ways of the world! Okay that is hypocritical of me.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-05T14:50:09.7416667-05:00
Well I doubt retrogamer is going to be the only atheist to vote. I am fairly sure there will be several atheist that pick yes on this poll despite that this poll is for Christians.
briantheliberal says2015-04-05T14:52:05.2574452-05:00
If you vote 'no' you are against what you claim to believe in. The Bible CLEARLY says people who do not accept Jesus Christ as their lord and savior will not inherit the kingdom of god. That includes all non-Christians, Muslims, Atheists, Jews, Hindus, and everyone else.
retrogamer176 says2015-04-05T14:53:07.0915517-05:00
@Mathgeek It's in the bible. I can give you the verse. It's a sin to associate yourself with nonbelievers too.
briantheliberal says2015-04-05T14:53:16.6243962-05:00
Why do Christians always have to cherry pick what they want to believe?
retrogamer176 says2015-04-05T14:55:19.3959450-05:00
@brian You should be glad that their cherry picking. My problem is the part where people use the bible against gays. Either cherry pick ALL the bad out, or don't cherry pick at all right?
retrogamer176 says2015-04-05T14:56:00.1577278-05:00
@Tumblrnatic Don't use my age against me.
Tumblrnatic says2015-04-05T14:56:44.9288668-05:00
@retro, You are still learning. But sorry any way.
briantheliberal says2015-04-05T14:58:21.8570256-05:00
You know I actually like it when Christians cherry pick their beliefs. It helps me to realize a huge reason why I am not a Christian, since hypocrisy is so very common among them.
retrogamer176 says2015-04-05T14:58:57.0711288-05:00
@Tumblrnatic Actually, I kinda agree that I ruined the poll. This WAS, after all, aimed for Christians. Sorry about that...
Tumblrnatic says2015-04-05T14:59:37.7891425-05:00
@retro you admitted the truth.
retrogamer176 says2015-04-05T15:01:10.4981596-05:00
@Tumblrnatic Meh, it's hard to convince me of a point, but when you do, I'm happy to admit it.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-05T18:21:42.0787786-05:00
"Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.......Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them. " John 3:18-36 If you notice, the bible never states what is belief in this verse. Belief in Jesus is something that goes to the soul, if your soul believes in the in the same morals as Jesus taught, then you have a belief in Jesus without ever actually hearing about him. Effectively if a person is basically a saint but hasn't heard of Jesus, then they will still go to heaven because in their soul they believed in the morals Jesus taught. Those who believe in Jesus merely have an easier time getting to heaven.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-05T18:26:57.4579135-05:00
It looks like the only Christian comments for yes are from Tonius5, genesis01, and possible Dhruva. The three other comments in yes are atheist.
shaancl_716 says2015-04-05T19:40:37.4709186-05:00
Welp, I am personally glad I am going to hell. Bigots won't be there.
retrogamer176 says2015-04-05T19:42:28.2527284-05:00
And the best part: With all the great scientists there, it HAS to be air conditioned by now!
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-05T23:12:45.1194855-05:00
Retrogamer, there are a lot of Christian scientist.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-05T23:26:07.2492585-05:00
@shaancl_716 Still bigots there, if you do go to hell (hopefully you don't) you would still get the Christians that were too horrible to get into heaven.
hect says2015-04-06T07:24:47.1511286-05:00
@Mathgeekjoe: what if you have 'morals of a saint' but reject grotesque teachings of jesus such as love your enemy, vicarious redemption and Luke 19:11-27 ("But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them—bring them here and kill them in front of me".) do you go to hell then?
retrogamer176 says2015-04-06T08:55:15.5517815-05:00
Mathgeek: But theirs also a lot of atheist scientists.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-06T09:32:34.3625825-05:00
@Hect. Parable, the minas represent the good in ones heart, those who do not use it lose it. The people who refused to be ruled represent people who refused to do good, evil people wouldn't want god to rule them, and evil people are cast into hell.
hect says2015-04-06T18:02:24.6800442-05:00
@Mathgeekjoe: So to live as a follower is to live as an abject slave and to be proud of your chains? No thank you I will break the chain.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-06T18:19:56.5312287-05:00
Do you consider doing good things a chain? I guess Mahatma Gandhi was bound by his chains of doing good, we was given a minas and made many from it.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-06T19:32:41.5738280-05:00
Typo, he, not we.
hect says2015-04-06T20:47:41.5792210-05:00
I dont want the celestial dictator to rule me but that doesn't make me evil. Jesus does not have a monopoly on morality. Our morality does not come from religion it precedes it.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-06T21:00:24.7534459-05:00
Morality can't precede god. You don't want the celestial dictator to rule you, well he isn't right now, he gave everyone free will, while you are alive he doesn't rule you, but when you die he rules, but you don't believe in the afterlife so you really don't have an opinion of whether you want a celestial dictator to rule there.
hect says2015-04-07T00:29:41.5164780-05:00
Ahh so we have free will because the boss says so? This isn't freedom it's conditional slavery
triangle.128k says2015-04-08T11:50:54.1975235-05:00
Too many atheists/agnostics ruined this poll, I meant for only Christians to answer it. \:
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-10T19:43:02.5881069-05:00
"Ahh so we have free will because the boss says so? This isn't freedom it's conditional slavery" well I guess you rather not exist, oh right you would rather not exist?
hect says2015-04-10T21:09:30.9391290-05:00
I would rather die a free man than live a a slave
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-10T21:14:00.6267426-05:00
Do you know what free will is? Oh wait, you don't believe in free will.
hect says2015-04-10T21:17:13.8602265-05:00
Actually I'm agnostic when it comes to free will I just say it because I can argue the point lol
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-10T21:42:50.8830678-05:00
Hect, how can you possible die a slave to god, he gives you free will and he doesn't interfere much?
hect says2015-04-10T23:46:17.1593589-05:00
The teachings of christianity show that we are slaves and god is our master. This totalitarian celestial dictator that is your god, this is a god who tells us what we should eat or not eat, what to do on our days of (sabbath) how to punish people and for what crimes (often calling for death for the most insignificant crimes like disrespecting your parents), tells us whom we can sleep with and in what position, can punish us just for what may occur to us in our thoughts, creates us sick (as apparently we are ) and then orders us to be well again, all this and if we don't obey we must suffer an eternity in an agonising torturous hell, this is an evil teaching and when taught to children child abuse.
triangle.128k says2015-04-28T20:19:14.6765335-05:00
These atheists had to ruin my poll -_-
