This is a stupid poll.
What??????? I can't even answer this; it makes no sense. I can't even make heads or tails out of it!
Attempts to bring down Christians are becoming stupider.
I am christian, lol
Are you kidding me? This is so stupid.
Just answer. If the bible said this, would you worship her?
ChosenWolff, if you are a Christian, why in the world would you say such terrible things about your God?
Hypotheticals? Again? And no one is shocked that it involves Gays & Religion!
This is a really stupid poll and I shouldn't have voted on it.
I'm a conervitive atheist so you have stereotyped me. Aren't liberals againsed that
So much butthurt
WHERE IN THE BIBLE DOES IT SAY THAT LIBERALISM IS A SIN????? This. Is. RIDICULOUS.
Plus you're assuming that all conservatives are christian!!!!
What have you done to Jesus?!
@labarum Tell me about it. A homosexual?
Homosexuality is, according to the Bible, displeasing in God's eyes; God is taken to be perfect, and thus homosexuality is, according to the Bible, a sin. Jesus didn't sin... I see the only problem with this hypothetical situation. Well, then again, it says Jesus was a man and he came from a country in the Middle East.
Where in the bible does Jesus say he is against homosexuality?
@ChosenWolff According to certain passages in the book of Leviticus, homosexuality is an abomination. Not only that, but also in the Bible it says it is wrong for a man to wear the clothes of a woman; there are admonitions against homosexuality throughout the Bible.
Leviticus 18:22
"Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin."
You do realize leviticus was written by priests, right? Why would any sane man trust the old testament as truth?
@ChosenWolff Well, Romans says just about the same thing...
Romans was written by Paul, correct? What do we know about Paul? One, he never talked to Jesus. Two, he was raised in a old style hyper Jewish conservative community. His statement contradicts 8 other new testament authors.
What strikes me here is the need to hypothetically change Jesus. Liberals preach acceptance, tolerance, and rights for LGBT's but fail to show the acceptance, tolerance and rights for Christians. I don't ask you to turn straight and you don't mess with Jesus.
Jesus wasn't even white in the first place!
@CarterWale,
How do you know what color of skin Jesus was? It's all the same to God, anyways.
Whoops--didn't see the "conservative" part. Ignore my vote, please!
She's god isn't she? Jasper, if the bible said that, would you believe in her?
Why not
Jesus is not any of the adjectives you mention because that's not what the Bible says He is. We believe in the Bible because of God, we believe in Jesus' life on earth because of the Bible, and since the Bible doesn't say anything about those adjectives that's not the "Jesus" I would worship.
I would believe in him. I would believe that he was a sinner though, not the savior of the world.
No, I would not. The Bible says numerous times that homosexuality is a perversion of his creation, and has made it clear that it is not pleasing to him. Also he said he would send his SON not DAUGHTER. (This is not implying that women are worth less than men). The Bible says that Jesus would be perfect and please God in everything he did. Also, the Bible calls Jesus the "Lion of the tribe of Judah" and promised that he would be a descendant of David who was a Jewish king. Therefore, Christ would emerge out of Israel. I don't have any problem with the "half-black mexican" ethnicity, but Jesus could not be that way and have the Bible be consistent. If the Bible said Jesus was that way, and was that inconsistent, I would conclude the Bible is false.
Homosexuality is a sin, therefore the person in question could not be Jesus; this would create an imperfection in this "god"'s word and thus render it not the work of our Christian God. This person could only be Jesus if they were not committing a sin by being homosexual. Again, just what it tells us in the Bible. I don't hate anyone for what they are because the Bible also tells us not to do that.
