Could you make it through BUD/S Training?

In case you don't know, BUD/S stands for Basic Underwater Demolition SEAL Training. It's a 6 month program that aspiring NAVY SEALS go through.

Those helmets in the "no" picture, do people die during this training?

Extremely rarely. That's not what the picture is. When someone quits, they ring a bell three times and put their helmet in a long row with other quitter's helmets.

@PetersSmith There have been accidental deaths, but it's not a regular thing. They have plenty of medical people standing by just in case.

What's the likelihood of someone making it in the first place? Like "percent chance".

Or odds, that works too.

And do you have to be in the military (any branch) in order to even apply for this?
dmussi12 says2014-08-11T23:55:19.5929713-05:00
The success rate is 20-25%.

Do they kick people out or do most people have to give up?

If you show that you cannot physically complete the tasks required despite your best efforts you will be excused. Otherwise you have to quit. Or die.. That's another way out

I'm sure the guys on here will laugh, but I've got to say it ... ANY woman can raise h*ll like a Navy SEAL, once a month!
