Do votes, on DDO, really mean anything?

What I mean by this, is that I believe most people vote based on what they believe, regardless of who had the better argument. For instance. How often have you seen an atheist vote for a pro religion debate? I've seen it exactly once, and I applaud his reasons for doing so.

  • Yes

  • No

  • I vote for who I think won. That means something. It means I thought the person I voted for won.

  • I believe that most people vote for whoever agrees with their own position on a topic. Seriously. How many people actually take the time to read the arguments, sometimes very lengthy ones, and weigh each argument fairly? I would say very few. Especially when it comes to religious and political debates.

OK. I feel stupid. I picked the wrong one, but my comment still stands. The real vote currently stands at 0-2.
