  • Rights to what exactly? Everything it too vague. Do i have the right to carry a firearm as a Brit? no.

  • Human rights are a social construct. They do not naturally exist.

  • Pfft I blame the internet.

  • Actually, I've recently been researching freedom of religion. According to the first amendment of the United States, "Neither a state nor the federal government can set up a church. Neither can pass laws which aid one religion, aid all religions, or prefer one religion over another." Trump's recent travel ban violate this amendment (yes, I know the federal court recently ruled against the order). His order called for Christianity as a priority over other religions, which is in direct violation of the first amendment.

  • NO! America is said to be the land of the free but how is it that as a nation we look down upon those who come to the "promised land" to look for a better future. All humans have the inalienable rights to life, liberty, the purtsuit of property, the pursuit of happiness, and to the press. As a nation we have taken more than one of these rights from immigrants that only want whats best for their future and fo the future of their children, so no. i refuse to believe that we have all the rights said to be given to us by our oh so perfect government.

  • I am going to guess you mean Human rights. Which in that case I say no. Here is why. We have no rights because we made them up. Now you are probably thinking "What? Ya we do we have god given rights! Like Freedom of speech!" Which I completely love freedom of speech and all. But I recognize we do not deserve rights. They do not belong to us because if they were god given then why do countries have different amounts of rights or even no rights at all? Rights are given to us by the government. They are given because we obey the law. Which can be taken away. Like the right to vote. So I guess that makes them Privileges. A list of Privileges that can be taken away at any moment. So no we don't own rights.
