Do women really ask men out?

Posted by: nilname

Cultural norms in America have traditionally held that it's men's role to ask women out on dates. Times have changed, and in spite of the debated pay gap, women are in the work force earning a living. It's often argued that the person who does the asking should pay for the date, but do women ever really ask men out? Or do they fall back on traditional gender roles in this area?

I'm a guy and I've been asked out by a woman fewer than a few times.

Ive never dated anyone ever...But my female and male friends have asked peopleout at pretty much the same rate. It could be different for others though my school is a very liberal enviornment.

It's a matter of body language and openness that give the other the confidence to avoid rejection. Neither really asks the other it's a mutual game. The woman makes the first gesture with body language the guy reciprocates with a verbal gesture, so it goes on.
