  • Umm.. yes. ISIS will kill every Christian in this world if they can

  • Maybe not a Christian "Holocaust," but one of some sort. The Quran? teaches that all infidels must be your slave, die (smite them at the neck), or convert.

  • 99% of the people that ISIS have killed so far have been Muslims, not Christians, lets turn the talk of a 'Christian holocaust' down a notch

  • Or "holohoax" as heil would put it.

Of course it has and Hitler and the Mufti of Jerusalem started this modern day horror -http://www.Eretzyisroel.Org/~jkatz/recruited.Html

If anyone in the Middle East is the victim of a holocaust, it's Muslims at the hands of Christians and Jews (and other Muslims).
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-18T18:34:21.4202566-05:00
"If anyone in the Middle East is the victim of a holocaust, it's Muslims at the hands of Christians and Jews (and other Muslims)." Are you basing this on ancient history or current events?
briantheliberal says2015-04-18T19:04:22.0832321-05:00
Mathgeekjoe, although there have been instances of Muslim genocide in the past, I am talking more currently on the issue. It's Christians from America going to the MIddle East, and Jews in Israel overthrowing governments, starting wars and murdering innocent Muslims in their own nations.
briantheliberal says2015-04-18T19:04:53.2402312-05:00
Oh and stealing land, let's not forget about that too.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-18T19:06:21.6098977-05:00
You do know that the majority the muslims deaths in the region are caused by other muslims.
briantheliberal says2015-04-18T19:12:08.8670044-05:00
I literally just said Muslims are also party responsible.
TBR says2015-04-18T19:13:05.5794589-05:00
Mathgeekjoe - Its not even close. We have been killing Muslims at a breakneck pace for the last decade.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-18T19:39:07.7641620-05:00
Wow, it is hard to get good statistics on the death toll over there. Sometimes I get only terrorist attacks, other times I get violence in general. I am currently using
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-18T19:43:09.7092649-05:00
Anyways, based on that source, I find that anti-government/occupy groups account for more deaths than US coalition including iraqi state forces.
TBR says2015-04-18T19:44:14.8744388-05:00
I agree the numbers are difficult to get. As in this case, you are only looking at civilian deaths.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-18T19:46:15.1116994-05:00
What is really scary according to is the number of unknown actors.
TBR says2015-04-18T19:47:10.0850422-05:00
Look at this one... Counting ~500k deaths due to sanction in Iran. Http://www.Nytimes.Com/roomfordebate/2013/11/19/sanctions-successes-and-failures/in-iran-sanctions-hurt-the-wrong-people
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-18T19:55:14.3467755-05:00
TBR, check the source of your source, that is the death toll of sanctions in Iraq.
TBR says2015-04-18T19:56:35.7888643-05:00
Yes, that's what I said.
TBR says2015-04-18T19:59:28.4564929-05:00
Wait, sorry. What you are saying is the total number is the toll from the sanctions placed on Iraq, yes. Sorry. Point still stands, but apologize for confusing or misleading. We, our actions, are killing Muslims by the... Well, just a hell of a lot of them. ISIS can't come close to us.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-18T20:02:43.9993084-05:00
The sanctions are from the UN security council. I am currently trying to find the religion of the UN security council to see if one can correctly say the sanctions were placed by christians/jews.
TBR says2015-04-18T20:03:36.5152553-05:00
Decent point. Let me know.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-18T20:19:57.5660053-05:00
Well that was fairly interesting, amount of christians in the US is fairly low compared to france. France is about 87% christian. Russia is about 75% christian. China is a mix bag of everything, I could only get that the majority are buddhist. UK is about 60%. US is about 77% christian.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-18T20:20:46.8910908-05:00
Quick question, why does the comment square get larger every time I hit backspace?
TBR says2015-04-18T20:24:27.7523554-05:00
Well, they are using javascript to resize the text area. This sort of resizing is tough to do, and suffers odd behavior.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-18T20:27:42.9339661-05:00
If one really want to give a misleading statement that the sanctions were caused by christians, then I guess they could. But it would highly misleading, the reason why each county supported the sanctions were for non-religious reasons.
TBR says2015-04-18T20:29:37.2664570-05:00
Back to the point at hand. I have seen plenty of "lets kill them all" from semi-serious folk to think that Muslims have equal claim to worry over a "Holocaust", and the death and destruction to largely Muslim countries has come from predominantly Christian/Jewish nations.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-18T20:32:27.7399786-05:00
Muslims should be more worried about a holocaust caused by more radical muslims. ISIS and other radical groups mostly kill muslims.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-18T20:33:45.5856673-05:00
Muslims should worry more about radical muslims committing a holocaust. ISIS and other radical muslim groups mostly kill and target muslims.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-18T20:34:47.7628858-05:00
Sorry for double post, I thought my old post was submitted for moderation.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-18T20:36:57.1623973-05:00
"I have seen plenty of "lets kill them all" from semi-serious folk" Should I even mention the "death to (insert western nation)" chants that go on in the middle east. You got death to UK, america, Israel, and many more.
TBR says2015-04-18T20:38:39.7708179-05:00
ISIS isn't anything compared with our forces. Look, I am not making a case for ISIS NOT being terrible, only that we have some sort of need to think they are more then they are. We need to get OUT of this cycle in the middle-east. We need to realize that our efforts, noble or not, are counter productive.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-18T20:39:38.4031217-05:00
ISIS will continue to grow even if we leave the area.
TBR says2015-04-18T20:41:03.9340516-05:00
From WWII on we (west) have done one thing or another in the ME. Each time we make complicated issues even worse. Time to just face this fact, and get out.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-18T20:42:25.2966021-05:00
Getting out doesn't solve the problem. ISIS started to spread after we got out.
TBR says2015-04-18T20:44:06.5375987-05:00
So what? Again, stay, intervene we exacerbate the issue. Just GET OUT!
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-18T20:45:05.9187217-05:00
Do your really want to leave ISIS become a nation, spread to other countries, etc?
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-18T20:45:20.5850979-05:00
TBR, remember when I said it is not going to war is the problem, it is how you fight it?
TBR says2015-04-18T20:49:37.4082848-05:00
I don't want ISIS anything, but that is not up to me, or my country.
TBR says2015-04-18T20:51:47.8250297-05:00
I did a debate on ISIS.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-18T20:56:35.1197982-05:00
Are you saying there is no way we can attack ISIS without causing larger problems? I disagree.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-18T20:57:34.0158112-05:00
There are ways we can 'attack' ISIS without causing large complications.
TBR says2015-04-18T20:58:31.4695063-05:00
That is what I am saying. Read my debate (R2). Even short-term success will end the way it has before, long-term additional problems.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-18T21:11:04.5945036-05:00
"Chopping off the head of an enemy by proxy is not as barbaric as the killing of my father by drone strike! The results are in at this point, and it’s not hypothetical anymore" So you should leave a father continue terrorist attacks?
TBR says2015-04-18T21:15:25.8240040-05:00
If the other action does not fix the situation, the logical choice IS to leave the father. And, in that case I said if he was a terrorists or not. We will get real terrorists, suspected terrorists that aren't, and just plan innocents.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-18T21:17:06.4101850-05:00
Right now you are not giving reasons against action, you are giving reason against certain military actions. Tell me why we can't do any action?
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-18T21:19:34.4212183-05:00
I personally believe there are ways to fight ISIS without destabilizing the region.
TBR says2015-04-18T21:20:52.5757153-05:00
There is no action (attack) that has historically done anything with lasting good results. LEAVE THEM ALONE!
Texas14 says2015-04-19T00:09:22.0236991-05:00
I don't know if holocaust is the right word. I would say that too many Christians have died in the name of Islam.
triangle.128k says2015-04-27T20:59:38.3876618-05:00
@Texas14 They didn't die in the "name of Islam," they died in the name of madness. Mad people that commit violence usually use religion as an excuse. However, they would probably use other excuses if they couldn't use religion. It's not religion driving people to violence, it's their personal drive for violence.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-27T21:01:05.2268441-05:00
So triangle, you would say that the crusades weren't done in the name of christianity but in the name of madness?
triangle.128k says2015-04-27T21:01:42.5261028-05:00
Well the Crusades probably happened in the name of Christianity to conquer Jerusalem.
triangle.128k says2015-04-27T21:02:13.8989245-05:00
But when you look at non-religious stuff, religion is simply an excuse. The people are mad and they will use anything to justify their violence.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-27T21:05:33.5658843-05:00
I was just checking if you were consistent in your reasoning.
