Do you believe in witches?
Posted by: BblackkBbirddMy friend thinks that witches are real and their feet point backwards. By witch I mean witches of mythology not Wiccans or alternative medical practitioners .

I think witches are real, I've seen one..
By witch I meant the "a woman thought to have evil magic powers, popularly depicted as wearing a black cloak and pointed hat, and flying on a broomstick." not wiccans, not spiteful women, not someone bewitching...
Blackkbird ... You can't change the definition of Wiccan to fit your poll.
SweetTea, Wiccans do not consider themselves witches (I know a few Wiccans).
SNP1 ... A few Wiccans may not consider themselves as witches, but ... The formal definition stands. I didn't create it.
I didn't make up that definition of 'witch'.
Blackbird ... I'm doing this from memory, but you'll probably still find it online. Look for "Casting The Circle". It was written by someone at a college, in Asheville, NC. It's very interesting. There's also a lot of articles that refer to Wiccans as practicing "traditional witchcraft". The term wicca means a male witch.
