If you get far enough in either course, you'll find that they are essentially the same thing.

Biology is a much bigger scale than chemistry, and it is more interesting. I am an artist, so I am biased though...
Chemistry is the central science for a reason. Biology is totally based on all of chemistry, including carbon, oxygen, nitrogen - biology runs around 6 elements! Heck, everything can be traced back to chemistry. Chemistry is related to cool stuff like fireworks, deadly acids, awesome chemicals that do incredible reactions, and explosions, while biology can be thought of as dissection and "less cool" stuff like that. Advanced biology is all biochemistry anyway.
