"well, they're fighting with Muslims and are killing them." You been doing that since the existence of your religion!!!

@tajshar2k I'm a Shia Muslim. I believe Shia Islam to be true Islam. And I can prove it. So, care to prove your claim?
tajshar2k says2016-07-22T16:37:15.1352731Z
I don't think you know how philosophy works. I can't prove a negative, you have to prove a positive. Can you prove there isn't a magical unicorn in my bedroom right now? And what prove do you have? Some magical book says it exists, so it has to exist? Please provide proof.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_and_violence There you go.

@tajshar2k, There is, unfortunately, a lot of that going on here. Everyone seems to demand proof of a negative. This is the dumbing down of humanity. I recently posted a poll, "The Existence of God Cannot Be Proven. This is Not Proof God Does Not Exist." Most people voted against the statement because it is false, as the existence of God cannot be proven. Stupidity of the highest order.

@ThrowBack Agree 100% with what you said.

@tajshar2k Islam after Muhammad divided into two branches, those who saw Ali as the true successor of Muhammad, and those who didn't. Ali, as well as our other Imams, taught Islam the way it was taught by Muhammad. And if you want to know about true Islam that Ali promoted, read the following and take a look at the link: Secretariat, the Committee of Human Rights in New York under the chairmanship of the Secretary General Kofi Annan issued , in 2002 A.D. , this historic resolution: "The Caliph Ali Bin Abi Talib is considered the fairest governor who appeared during human history" https://www.Al-islam.Org/richest-treasure-imam-ali/imam-ali-s-letter-malik-al-ashtar-richest-treasure

In terms of war conduct, they essentially throw the Sunnah out the window.

"True Islam" is contradictory.
tajshar2k says2016-07-23T01:51:56.1674541Z
@Reece Exactly, this isn't a yes or no question. But since the OP is trying to imply ISIS isn't true Islam, and every other muslim is peaceful, I chose yes.

ISIS has very little connection to mainstream Islam. It's nothing more than a mob than throws around the word "Allah" and "Islam", and performs a few "religious practices", and beheads, shoots, and kills. The group doesn't even take God or religion seriously. It's a complete fraud of a movement.
Juan_Pablo_4_hillary says2016-07-23T02:33:55.3808028Z
The goal of ISIS's leaders is to gain power, wealth, and territory. It's a complete sham of a religious movement.

I love how everybody is using the no true scotsman fallacy left and right when talking about ISIS and Islam.
Throwback says2016-07-23T14:19:22.1072482Z
@triangle....Agreed. Everyone is way too intelligent-by halves.
lightseeker says2016-07-23T15:29:56.1314803Z
@triangle.128k @Throwback you can say a couple of words and be considered a Muslim. But becoming a true Muslim, would require you to do as Islam says.
triangle.128k says2016-07-23T17:54:09.2417486Z
Again with the BS no true scotsman fallacies. "Hurr durr, every Muslim I don't like isn't a real muslim!!!"
