Phersh - There was a homeless girl outside a skytrain station downtown in my city, she had a sign saying "anything helps, hungry, thirsty" etc. My ex girlfriend at the time was a manager of Telus, a cellphone company up in Canada, and she offered her a job with a starting wage of $14/hr. The girl denied it. The homeless can have it easy in some places and just bullsh*t their way through the day. I know a homeless guy who claims to make about $45-60/hr each day panhandling. A lot of them don't want to get off the streets, or they already are and nobody knows.

Phersh: I got a job with NO experience at freaking McDonalds 2 years ago. It's not that hard, I know that you can't work at McDonalds to manage a family, but that's when you need to get several jobs.

It's just life.

Not everyone can get multiple jobs. Some people can't work several jobs, and there isn't enough said jobs to take. If this is life, why? Why should we make life this hard? We have the resources to make every ones life easier, we can educate our people and care for them when they are sick.

What does "Do you support the homeless population? " mean? (Do you give money, etc. to every homeless person you meet? ) It would be quite wrong to accept a job if you had to move 1000 miles away & you really didn't want to, if you didn't have the necessary job skills, etc. The word Home means the place where a person habitually stays, one's native land, etc. Everybody has a place he habitually stays, a native land, etc. There aren't any Homeless people. There's quite a difference between a person telling the Truth & panhandling, & a person telling Lies & panhandling. I met a guy who bragged that he spends a lot of time Working Hard, coming up with new False Stories to use in his panhandling.

Otter, you would deny a job that pays $14/hr because someone you don't know offered it to you?
Comrade_Silly_Otter says2014-12-10T23:31:16.3598160-06:00
If someone offered me to replace them in a job, no I would be hesitant.
