Do you think that Indians(not Native Americans)are stereotyped?

So you think that Asians/Indians are stereotyped as a whole? I honestly do think we are. As a 2nd generation Indian I'm expected to be super smart and become a doctor. Which is weird because I hate learning and I want to become an actress.

I would say no, but I'm not an Indian so I can't say. The Indians that I grew up with and are friends with are only stereotyped by their family (who is also obviously Indian), so if anything Indians are trying to all stay the same lol

Yea, I got to agree with other comments. All groups are stereotyped.

Some Indians are thought to be terrorists, because they wear a turban which is similar to what the Taliban wears.

I say all groups are stereotyped. And in reply to Mister_Man I wanted to say that you just stereotyped Asian Indians yourself by saying: if anything Indians are trying to all stay the same lol No hate here, and I respect your opinion. Just be a little more careful with your word choice next time.
