Do you think that it is acceptable that schools in France won't serve none pork meals to Jewish and Muslim children?

Basically, a far-right French political group called FN won 11 town council elections . They will ban school canteens from providing alternatives for students when food that contravenes Muslim and Jewish dietary restrictions is served. They think this goes against the principle of 'Laïcité' (secularism).

Where I am from (in the Caribbean) they have a meat or vege lunch. They serve neither beef nor pork. I don't think it should matter though, but at the same time I do. These kids could just take the vegetarian lunch. On the other hand, some may (not me) think it is disrespectful. There's also the possibility of cases where they run out of non-pork or non-beef lunches and the students have to get something else. IDK.

State propaganda. Trinidad has a terrible media index.

What??? We (T&T) belong to the Caribbean. (The Caribbean is considered part of the Americas.) However we're very different in terms of culture, education etc. :/

The title makes it sound unbelievably bad. In actuality, your only limited to pork meat options, on days that pork foods are available. This is also a local thing, and France already has a non-existent Muslim and Jewish populous.
