No, this could be because the Confederate flag represents southern pride and/or state pride, and racism should not be connected to it because the Civil War may have been more about State's Rights than slavery.
Not because it represents pride or anything, but because you can't tell someone what they can and can't do, it is a principle we were founded one being able to express what we want without restrictions and limitations on our freedom of speech.

Unfortunately in this case we should allow the individual states to have the right to choose their own flag. I do disagree with flying The Confederate Stars and Bars on public property such as a state capitol ground where everyone has had to pay taxes. I do think The Confederate battle flag should fly in historic settings it pertains to.
