I liked Episode 2 for Kamino, the Fetts, The Politics and the Battle for Geonosis. I liked Episode 1 for more Politics, Darth Maul, The lightsaber battle at the end and the Saberstaff (the double sided lightsaber)

My opinion of Hayden Christensen is that while there certainly were better actors to chose from, it is easier to read Hayden Christensen's emotions compared to other actors. This is why they included all those scenes where he doesn't speak. It just shows his facial expression.
