It DOES actually exist and it is slapping you in the face every day. Think about the mandatory minimum percentages for hiring minorities, accepting minorities to university, interviewing minorities, etc. Even if none meet the requirements for positions or your school you MUST hire or accept them or else you face a NASTY court battle. What about grants, scholarships, and loans? Have you searched those as a White male, high school grad vs Black male high school grad? What about searching by students living in majority white neighborhoods vs majority black? For every $10 scholarship a white student has to work 8 hours to gain, black students have 10 $500 scholarships they have to work MAYBE an hour to earn, it's sickening. Have you seen the push from the white house for schools to stop handing out punishments as much to black students? Not to find a way to get black students to stop breaking rules, but to stop punishing them FOR breaking rules. How about the president's push to move low income housing into wealthier neighborhoods because it's not fair instead of asking getting them to go the heck to school and get a good job? How about the push that JUST came out from Obama to start collecting data on citizens based SPECIFICALLY on race which could only be to lobby the courts to start enacting more laws to hand more stuff out to minorities? Have any of you actually done ANY research on equality white vs black? You would be AMAZED at what you find; it's COMPLETELY opposite of what the media tries to sell.
OKOK... Wait. I am holding my side. You are going to reference metapedia? The neo-Nazi, Holocaust denial site? There hasn't been such a rich source since conservapedia! Good for you Haroush. Staying right on course.
You got it Taj. All lives matter. These violent societal changes are affecting everyone who lives within this society. No matter who you are, I am sure everyone here has been discriminated for one reason or another. It is just a fact that humans are violent in nature and when we address societal issues we need to address the issue at hand, not the race of the person who caused the mess. I say this because even if the reason the person did what they did was because of race, the roots of this person's pain and anguish comes from indoctrination in which no object can teach someone. Instead, a full scale offensive against all racist organizations should be instituted and used against every single one.
That would include ALL racist groups.. People who are pro-confederates aren't racist just because they are pro-confederates. In order for someone to be considered racist they have to fit ALL criteria of a racist. That is they hate a certain race or races. They find favor in ONLY one race. They are violent or aggressive toward a certain race or races. They disregard factual challenges a race faces. They ignore racism against one race, but don't tolerate racism geared toward another. Last but not least, they treat one race or races differently than one race or races.
The only problem is certain aspects of racism are sometimes easily confused with racism. For example, a white person walks into a DMV. He or she notices majority of the people are black. Naturally the person sits next to a small group of white folks. Vice versa as well.
Another example would be the two wrongs don't make a right scenario. This would be a situation where an individual has been victimized by racism from a certain race all their life, so in response to the straw that broke the camel's back they become aggressive toward the racist person in question and shout out a racist remark out of frustration. Not only this they become less trusting of this certain race.
There is other things I could think up too, but there would have to be a lot of exceptions as there is a fine line between racism and our natural being.
"People stop acting like black lives only matter. All lives do." - Right, except it's not all lives being tarnished and thrown away without an ounce of societal remorse. Saying "black lives matter" is not saying "other lives don't". It is a movement dedicated specifically to one cause (as most are) which is giving recognition to the fact that black lives in the world are generally valued less, especially in the Western world. The sooner people understand this, the better.
Also no, there is no such thing as "black privilege" seeing as black people are still at the bottom of the racial hierarchy and still face immeasurable amounts of discrimination and systemic prejudice. I find it funny how people so blindly believe that something like this even exists, yet when confronted with the obvious advantages that white people have in a white dominated society, they are quick to deny and dismiss it and call people "anti-white" for acknowledging its very existence. Nice to know not much has changed since I left.
