Germany, Austria, Italy. I plan to return. It's a great experience to be immersed in a different culture.

Been to UAE, I liked Dubai, not Abu Dhabi. I was scared as hell though. I refused to talk to anybody.

Let's see here. I've been to three different cities in Australia. Perth. Tasmania. Sydney. Been to the Middle East, France, Italy, Spain. What else? Panama. Diego Garcia, which is nothing but a sand bar in the Pacific, or was it the Atlantic? Most boring place I've ever been. Pusan, and half a dozen others I can't remember. And Uncle Sam paid for it all. :)

@B0HICA Wow, i'm surprised you didn't mention your bible thumping in your comment.
B0HICA says2015-07-22T23:44:38.0448085-05:00
And I'm surprised that you have a functioning brain. Or do you? It would explain a lot.
triangle.128k says2015-07-22T23:45:26.1549001-05:00
Yeah, and my brain actually allows me to think critically regarding issues, instead of relying on the Bible for everything.

Unfortunately, it doesn't prevent you from stalking me, and giving me a hard time. You had no reason to say what you did, except to try to hurt my feelings and make me look bad. You're nothing but a angry little troll. I pity you.

^ I guess you met up with Triangle and TBR there?
tajshar2k says2015-07-23T20:46:41.9016994-05:00
@Haroush I forgot to reply to you earlier. You asked me whether we need the government to be successful. In theory, No we do not, however due to our society and culture. Schooling is mandatory if anybody wants to become successful. You could argue for homeschooling, but you miss out on the social benefits provided by interacting with people, which is pretty much an everyday thing.
triangle.128k says2015-07-23T20:48:05.2992994-05:00
@Haroush What? Now that you can't defend your neo-confederate views, you're resorting to attacking all of us?
Haroush says2015-07-23T20:52:49.2341476-05:00
You don't miss out just because you are in home schooling. There is plenty of time to interact with groups of people by getting involved in sports, clubs, and other after school type activities.
Haroush says2015-07-23T20:54:25.4259987-05:00
Lol, that debate has been dead for a while now @ Triangle.
tajshar2k says2015-07-23T20:54:49.7186661-05:00
How do we regulate what goes on in Homeschooling? Parents could be teaching kids anything they want? What if parents were teaching their kids some extreme form of Sharia Law? Would you support that?
triangle.128k says2015-07-23T20:57:20.7490532-05:00
@Haroush Yet you're so butthurt about it that you feel the need to always attack me and anyone else whom argued against you.
Haroush says2015-07-23T20:57:30.4499584-05:00
Well, we do have freedom of speech. If Muslim parents wanted to do that, this would be their right to do so. Besides, do you know what Sharia law means?
tajshar2k says2015-07-23T20:58:48.0382511-05:00
Ya, I do now what that is. I will never support parents in brainwashing their kids into teaching some ridiculous ideology that promotes hate. The last thing we need is terrorists in our country. We had plenty of them back in 2001.
tajshar2k says2015-07-23T20:59:30.6466708-05:00
Too much of anything is bad. Giving people too much freedom will lead to Anarchy. I support freedom of speech, but that education should be extra, not be replaced with what the American education system gives.
Haroush says2015-07-23T21:00:39.9034032-05:00
That is why we need racial profiling, but make sure it is not abused.
tajshar2k says2015-07-23T21:02:00.5523550-05:00
Well, it goes against my principles in fighting racism. But I agree to some extent. Unfortunately, some races are more likely to do certain thing. Its not because of their skin color, but their culture. We should try to help them come out of that.
Haroush says2015-07-23T21:04:07.2538532-05:00
That is exactly right.. Racial profiling is about cultures, not the color of their skin. Really it should be called cultural profiling.
tajshar2k says2015-07-23T21:07:31.9102532-05:00
Well then yes, I do support it too some extent. But, I think it would be more beneficial if we encourage those certain groups to pursue freedom and success by getting an education, working hard, and being happy. Which, is why we need to improve our public schools. Some poor areas have such horrible schools and school systems, that it is basically impossible for them to get an education. Because of this, they resort to drugs, gangs, robbery. When we can fix that, we can fix a lot of problems in America. Police brutality would dramatically decrease, and its a win-win situation for everyone.
Haroush says2015-07-23T21:26:37.4041796-05:00
Perhaps, there are poor people out there who could benefit from education.. Though what do you do with those who really screw up bad while they are young and now can't fathom the idea of getting a college degree? When I grew up, I didn't have everything. In fact, there was a lot of bad influences around me. Guess what? I screwed up and made a few mistakes.. But, do you know what really gave me freedom? The freedom I had been looking for came from trade programs. Think of it this way, there is plenty of trade programs out there. If there is trades out there that range from being a computer tech, to being an electrician or plumber.. Why not? These trades pay great. I know of some electricians who started out at 18 an hour. Some of the experienced ones that I know of make 6 digit figures a year. It's something to think about. Remember not everyone is college material. So keep that in mind when you think about education. Remember too, there are other jobs out there on the extreme side. For example, being an Arctic Sea fisherman. It pays great, but it is made for certain people. When I retire you know what I am going to do? I want to be a history teacher. You ought to look up all the different types of careers that exist. You'd be surprised by some of the great paying careers that don't require you to have a college degree.
