Have you ever come across a person so stupid, you don't know how to respond to them?

No, I'm too clever to not be able to work out how to argue with dumb people

I once had a discussion with someone who didn't even know the difference between a marriage and a civil union. I explained the differences more than once and told them that forcing gays to only have civil unions instead of marriage was considered "separate but equal" under constitutional standards. They then proceeded to compare gender separated bathrooms to law based segregation. Doesn't get more ridiculous than this.

@briantheliberal, I was making the point that there is segregation of males and females, yet that isn't a problem for your average person. There has to be some type of line that "separate but equal" doesn't cross (such as restrooms). I believe it doesn't cross civil unions and marriage, you disagree. Calling someone stupid because of this disagreement isn't the best way to handle a disagreement.

When I was 12, there was a girl in my English class who though the Titanic was 'just a movie', and a girl in my history class (who's 15) thought there were 24 days in February .
