I like to make them stop by staring at them until they're freaked out and run away

I smile if it's two females , but otherwise I don't like it.

I feel like I'm the only sane one here. =P

@PetersSmith: Frankly, that's a double standard. PDAs from couples of any sexual orientation are inappropriate, even if it's yours...

I'm cool with hugging and holding hands, but I think kissing should be private and special between the two of them.

Now a RAVE public display... That can be super fun.

@Diqiucun_Cunmin - Just noticed your legal point. What? Show me a law please.

Things were so much simpler back then, people use to hook up in public all the time before society reformed itself. Its just a shame. :P

@TBR: I don't know about your jurisdiction, but here, it's under disorderly conduct in public (which houses other miscellaneous laws like playing musical instruments in public without a licence and killing horses).

"playing musical instruments in public without a licence and killing horses" - So you are living in 1830's Wyoming? Seriously, disorderly conduct can be used but...

No, I live on the other side of the Pacific, LOL. Sometimes people do get caught for PDAs, but they generally get away with small fines.
Diqiucun_Cunmin says2015-04-28T13:28:00.0421602-05:00
The vast majority of the time, though, the law is not enforced, like jaywalking or illegal downloading.
TBR says2015-04-28T13:32:15.9673385-05:00
"I live on the other side of the Pacific," OK, but is it 1830 :)

Diqiucun_Cunmin: You're right, it is a double standard. How would you like it if you saw two gay men kissing? Repulsed. It's not like it's actually hurting anyone though and making it illegal to do it is extremely restrictive and authoritarian. You mention the Bible in your vote, but that's personal choice and belief and should not be the law of a secular government.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-28T14:39:53.5310311-05:00
No one in public needs to see people committing PDA. Be respectful and do it somewhere other than public. In case you don't know there is a thing called a room.
TBR says2015-04-28T14:42:09.6273217-05:00
Why does it bother you?
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-28T14:47:26.8068572-05:00
It doesn't matter if it bothers me, other people still get bothered by it, why don't people be a little more respectful and do it somewhere that is not in public.
TBR says2015-04-28T14:56:27.9029244-05:00
If I pushed laws for every thing people did that bother me, we would need bigger law library's.
Mathgeekjoe says2015-04-28T14:57:11.4560589-05:00
Did I ever say they should be illegal?
TBR says2015-04-28T15:02:10.0695368-05:00
Sorry Mathgeekjoe. That got confused with Diqiucun_Cunmin comments.
Diqiucun_Cunmin says2015-04-28T20:24:34.9497192-05:00
@TBR: No way, that was before the First Anglo-Chinese War, and we were nothing more than a bunch of villages. :P
Diqiucun_Cunmin says2015-04-28T20:25:38.7731853-05:00
@PetersSmith: They are harmful to society - not inflicting physical harm or harm to property, but to culture. Also, I didn't mention the Bible...
Diqiucun_Cunmin says2015-04-28T20:28:13.5865222-05:00
@TBR: Also, if you think those laws are strangely specific, just wait till you see swearing in amusement parks or taking pictures in trains (both unenforced for obvious reasons). :P
