Out of an estimated 4.5 million articles, a mere 4,216 are listed as featured articles. That's not a lot! (it's only about 1 in 1,070)

The featured articles and the good articles are reliable

Surprisingly, the number of these articles are only a total of 26,587 articles out of the 4,490,519 articles on Wikipedia, about 1 in 169.
