You can get a "negative" as a grade, but it would still just count as a zero.

The teacher told me they couldn't put a negative grade on edline, but they said if they could they would. Instead I have a paper that just has a -9938/66 on it.

Actually, if the teacher takes points off for stuff like guessing, like they do on the SAT, you could theoretically get a negative score. Of course, your performance would have to be hilariously abysmal. Your best bet is to hope that it's a weighted grade, and that this measly quiz is fairly light on the scale.

Even if you got a negative point on every point you only get -100%, I got -15000%. It was a 66 point quiz, I got -10,000 points on the first problem, then I missed 4 points for small mistakes.
