  • You learn valuable lessons of acceptance, open-mindedness, creativity, expression, etc.

  • Philosophy and religion are included in humanities. Science and mathematics gives us more perfect knowledge about less perfect things(planets and numbers), Whereas philosophy and religion gives us less perfect knowledge about more perfect things. I prefer the latter.

  • Math & Science are good for jobs, Yes, But I find it is better for students to be enlightened with the world around them, Culture, People and their history. What do you think a student will remember in more detail after high school: their country's culture or formulas for the solution to x?

  • I'm not sure if the humanities serve any useful purpose. I can point to how science has helped us.

  • Humanities makes SJWs get extremely triggered when someone disagrees with them. Math and Science are truly open minded because they are based on objectivity and what does good, Not what feels good.

  • Science and Math were here before anything else. They are the language of this universe. Humanities may be important in social aspects but in every other aspect science and math take the lead!

One of them can only be picked based on one's interest.

Humanities don’t teach skills. Math and science teach skills. For a college major pick the latter.
