If Artificial intelligence Ends Up Having Self Thought, Should They Be Givin' Rights?

  • Why shouldn't we? I mean really, if we create something that experiences emotions and intelligent thoughts, then why should we condemn it (when was the last time you condemned a baby to a lack of human rights, it is essentially the same in the sense that both are being created, ignorantly or not is your opinion, but they are still there, highly intelligent beings)?

  • Until they turn murderous, sure. Afterwards, they're fair game for the slaughter.

  • When something displays a level of self awareness it is no longer fair game to kill , until them like animals that are not aware they remain kill able

  • If they are capable of intelligent self-thought, then by all means. Plus, then it's less likely to rise up and kill us all.

  • Doesn't it kind of count as racism to not give them rights, if they are like a humans.. doesnt matter how smart of a human.. but a human? And of course, if they were made/born/created that way than why shouldn't they get rights simply because they are different?
