Accidentally voted... Thinking about it.
Cold Mind, that would be incredibly stupid if we had a full disarament. I don't agree with Russian nuclear policy even more. We cut our arament 3/4ths of the size, but Russia wont dive below 10,000? Its also unacceptable how they give nuclear material to Iran.
Comrade, defend the double standard.
India's aiming nukes at Pakistan, therefore, Pakistan should have the right to aim its nukes. Israel is even worst. They signed the non-proliferation treaty.
So we should give all the bickering nations in the middle East Weapons of Mass Destruction? Things that can slaughter millions of people and make land unlivable for years?
That's not logical. The question asks why the US defends nations that illegally control nuclear weapons. Please, enlighten me otter. Why do we sanction Iran for controlling nukes, but Israel goes scot free.
Do I know? No. I am heavily against nukes and wish no one had them. We already give Israel millions in aid anyhow.
Iran also have an aggressive history.
Why are you voting for no if you agree with me? We can't tell nations to give up nukes, when we have full power to take them out of Israel and Pakistan.
But I don't think handing countries that are not the nicest to each other weapons that can demolish entire cities and kill most inside them.
The question says if the nations should have nukes, I said no.
Do you think India is a nice country? They used aggression many times in Kashmir. Your stance is hypocritical, so enlighten me. When we have the power to disarm these nations, why do we not do so?
We have enough power to go into North Korea and take their nukes. You say we can beat China in a war, why don't we go there and take their nukes?
China has legal rights to those nukes. The DPRK is more volatile, as they have missiles aimed right at Seoul. Stop being fallacious. Why or why not are these nations not entitled to the double standard?
Zloyarchy, the question asks why is Israel entitled to nukes and not Iran. The point, is that the west supports Israel having nukes, but not Iran, even though both are hosting them illegally. Shouldn't Israel be disarmed also? They are aiming nukes at Iran, therefore, Iran has every right to point nukes back.
Israel's nuclear program started way before Iran's. They had nukes pointed at Iran for decades.
Dilara, Israel has never used nukes on Palestine, or any other country. Don't tell me Hamas would show similar restraint.
No one should have nukes.
No, we can't allow some countries to have nukes and others not. Its hypocrisy. Technically Pakistan and Israel are US allies, but our nuclear policy is all over the place. We could disarm Israel in a year.
I agree. Israel has more nukes than Iran. They use their nukes to slaughter the childeren of Gaza and kill lots innocent people all around Palestine. If that government can have nukes anyone should.
Right with ya Otter boy!
As hypocritical as it sounds, some countries simply cannot be trusted with WMD's. Just look at Syria, which used chemical weapons on its own people... I think I'd be happier sleeping at night knowing I'm a hypocrite, rather than thinking an unstable country has access to nuclear weapons.
Hypocrisy is unfortunate, but when the correction thereof could result in the destruction of civilization and humanity, perhaps keeping two sets of books in not only advisable, but morally preferable.
No one should have nukes, to allow anyone else ESPECIALLY IRAN to have nukes is NOT a good idea.
Israel doesn't slaughter innocent people in Gaza, they simply defend their selves because their are terrorist attacks daily. Don't post what you don't know is actually going on in a nation.
