  • If you decided to support him after watching his presidential announcement speech, I would argue you are. You might not be racist, but you're definitely bigoted to an extent.

  • I believe that it does, race isn't just thinking about blacks and whites but the big race issue is with the Mexicans, and immigration from the south, which this country was built by immigrates and they slaughtered the inhabitants.

  • Trump's not even racist. Democrats are just accusing him at every little thing to stir up people and get votes.

  • Idiot question!!! My daughter's half black, my sister married an illegal Mexican and has 3 kids with him and my entire Family voted Trump!

  • I don't support Trump but I can see multiple reasons why someone might consider him the lesser of two evils in comparison to Clinton who I also dislike. For example you might consider Clinton's position on Russia sufficiently dangerous warrant voting for Trump or you might think Clinton's insider position would result in more poverty of the working class and general stagnation. Although under the circumstances of his current administration I am doubtful he will achieve the latter.

  • How's he racist when he has minority followers and once dated black women in the past ? Lol. Typical libtards playing the "Republicans are racist" card.

  • Race bait.

  • dumbest question ever

  • No, if you support Trump it does not automatically make you racist. Many of Trump's supporters are people who are concerned about the safety of the country or the strength of the economy among other things. The whole "if you support Trump you're a racist" issue was made by Democrats to stir things up. Democrats basically call any Republican racist. So No, even though Trump had some racist people supporting him, you cannot say that all of his supporters are racist. Besides, what he said is not racist, the Democrats tll people it is and sadly many believe it.

  • Name calling. Thats what Hillary supporters have resorted to.

  • Voting for Donald Trump doesn't mean youre racist. This is if you are not voting for him because of his - twisted by the media and those who haven't researched them - "racist" views on Muslims or Mexicans. (Determining if these views were actually racist or not is another debate entirely which I'm not going to go into)

  • I'm against Trump but I don't think supporters are necessarily all racist, obviously some are but maybe not all

  • Trump isn't racist so why would you be racist for supporting him?

  • Hillary wanted a no fly zone. This would lead to war with Russia. Not wanting a war with Russia is not racist.

  • Just no... That's like saying just because you support america, you support slavery, bombing Japanese, and genocide of native Americans simply because of the actions that happened before. pathetic argument, no link at all. Plus, trump himself isn't a racist, he has done many actions to help everyone, but the media won't tell you that

  • Blacks for Trump!

  • (I'm not an American, but) I think people have a variety of reasons for voting the way they do. Arguing that 'all Republicans are automatically racist' just furthers the political divide and shuts down communication. I think Trump has said some flat-out racist things, but that doesn't necessarily mean that people who voted for him are also racist.

  • While trump and some of his supporters are racist not all of them are. People will have a variety of reasons to vote the way they do, both good and bad. Some voted because they believed that trump was the lesser of two great evils, some because they feared clinton would not keep them safe, or even that a shakeup in washington is necessary to reveal all the corruption under the surface. Others voted for him because he is racist, because he would strip government regulation impeding their profits even at the expense of the majority, or because they wanted to see the world burn. Trump however is a racist, and if you deny this then you are being willfully ignorant. He said mexicans are rapists, blacks are thugs, and muslims are terrorists. This isn't just campaign rhetoric and showmanship, he truly does believe these things. He supports banning muslims and has been the source of discriminatory practices in his businesses. His managers had to hide their minority workers when trump came around to keep them from being fired. Once upon finding that his business employed a black accountant he said something like this "Black people counting my money. I hate it, they are inherently lazy. They can't help it, its just their nature" which is the very definition("the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.") of racism! His past shows that he was a racist, and his campaign shows that he hasn't changed.

Can someone elaborate as to why a trump supporter might be bigoted?

I am a Trump supporter, and I am not bigoted to any extent, and neither is Trump.

If you are a bigot, you should wear it on your sleeve just like the badges Trump tried to introduce for Muslims.

Nixon carpet bombed in Vietnam was he a bigot? And are you saying that you care more about the well being of someone that wants to see you killed because you believe in freedom, than the lives of innocent americans? Obviously torture of american citizens is against the 8th ammendment but if they are not citizens, (btw committing acts of terrorism can have your citizenship removed) then there is no problem to me.
reece says2016-12-12T00:00:59.3418281Z

jo154676 says2016-12-12T00:50:13.4501245Z
@Reece no but I do not see how affiliation to a side matters here. It is not about whether the liberals or conservatives agree with it to me, it is about whether or not it is best for America. So maybe we should try asking those terrorists real nicely for the information? Pretty please with a cherry on top terrorist tell us everything you know??? Yea im sure that will work. Bigot-"a person who has strong, unreasonable ideas, esp. About race or religion, and who thinks anyone who does not have the same beliefs is wrong:" where did he in those tapes say that people who supported blacks or jews were wrong? He had prejudices as did most during that time because they were grown up being taught those things. But he never called people out for not believing that, ergo he is not a bigot, and I would not call his beliefs strong or unreasonable. He was saying these things behind closed doors, not to the public or putting them into laws.
reece says2016-12-12T01:26:22.4256281Z
@jo154676 I was just going by what RickieDaDebater said. Actually being nice to the person you're trying to integrate actually works. You receive accurate information if you Gain their trust. There is historical proof. Just look at the most successful integration techniques of World War II. If Nixon wasn't a Bigot, what was his prejudice? It seems a bit contradictory. What you think influences your actions regardless.
jo154676 says2016-12-12T01:51:05.4959349Z
Not really, the terrorists are so brainwashed that there is no other way to get the information. http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/torture-effective-gathering-intelligence/ Bill makes some great points you should read it.
reece says2016-12-12T02:43:00.8827052Z
@jo154676 The conversation provided nothing about how brainwashed some of them are. You're just clumping them into a group. Did you see how ashamed he was of calling it torture. Are you going to reply to anything else I said.
