Most of all fruits have seeds, but a banana doesn't so... Is it a fruit or vegetable?

  • 1: If you look at the image above, there are bananas. 2: Banana is technically a berry 3: Though technically on the bandwagon, it is generally accepted as a fruit, and the lack of evidence it is a vegetable, its main relation being that it is a fruiting plant.

Wild bananas do in fact contain seeds. However, the varieties commonly cultivated for human consumption have very tiny black seeds that are unable to reproduce, similar to seedless watermelons. You can read more here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banana#Modern_cultivation
